Domain appraisal scam – Spam oder keiner?

spam Nicht das ich in den letzten Tagen genug zu tun hätte, so bekomme ich heute auch noch eine Nachricht von einem gewissen Mac YU (Namensgeber war wahrscheinlich ein Computer) mit folgendem Text:

Dear CEO,

We are the department of registration service in China. we have something need to confirm with you. We formally received an application on
August 27, 2009, One company which self-styled "Kedda Corporation" are applying to register " computeragentur " as internet brand and Domain names as below : computeragentur.asia
computeragentur.cc
computeragentur.cn
computeragentur.com.cn
computeragentur.com.tw
computeragentur.hk
computeragentur.net.cn
computeragentur.org.cn
computeragentur.tw

After our initial examination, we found that the internet brand applied for registration are as same as your company's name and trademark.These days we are dealing with it, hope to get the affirmation from your company. If your company and this"Kedda Corporation"as the same company,there is no need reply to us,We will accept their application and will register those for them immediately.

If your company has no relationships with that company nor do not authorized,please reply to us within 7 workdays,if we can't get any information from yours over 7 workdays,we will unconditionally approve the application submitted by "Kedda Corporation".

Ich bin dem Thema natürlich nachgegangen weil mir zum einen, die Domain www.computeragentur.de gehört, zum anderen weil ich das Anliegen des netten Herren der mir hier geschrieben hat leider nicht verstanden habe Was habe ich denn mit einem Domainnamen zu tun der in China registiert wird? Kann doch jeder gerne tun. Also habe ich mir die Arbeit gemacht und ein Wenig recherchiert. Also ein paar Zeilen und die Internetadresse URL in eine bekannte Suchmaschine eingegeben und schon sprudelten die Ergebnisse nur so. Es handelt sich hierbei um domain appraisal scam aber was bedeuted das, ja die guten Herren aus China wollen nur an unser Bestes. Sie zielen mit Ihrer Anfrage darauf ab das die Angeschriebenen E-Mail Empfänger über Ihre Firma die aufgelistesten Domains registrieren.
